Installing in the Wheelock Student Union!

As the opening date for the Tacoma Art Museum's exhibit Hide and Seek: Difference and Desire in American Portraiture approaches, the University of Puget Sound's Art 282 Class (screen printing and lithography) has created a campus wide installation to raise awareness not only for the exhibit itself, but also the controversial themes surrounding its arrival. Our class of 13 students has each created a motifs of ants and candy in reference to the respective works of David Wojnarowicz and Felix Gonzalez-Torres. Each student will have the opportunity to post their work here and end explain it to their audiences. In addition, we will also be using this site to continue conversations about the importance of this exhibit as well as raise awareness of events that involve the campus community.
